Where it comes from
- Sources
- State alcohol-license systems and city permit portals — currently Austin DSD · CA ABC · LADBS · NY SLA · NYC DOB · NYC DOHMH · TX TABC.
Every signal names the government system it came from.
- Method
- Signals sharing an address collapse into one venue, so a place filing
both a liquor application and a build-out permit counts once — and
scores higher for it. That fusion is why these counts differ from any
single agency's.
- Cadence
- Polled daily. A filing appears the day the source indexes it.
- Access
- Filings older than 30 days are open, with names and
the source record. Owner contacts, the exact address and the last
30 days are on the paid feed, capped at
5 seats per buyer category per metro.
